Deliveries, collections, exchanges and hire run through one job engine, and every job shows what it is worth and - to the people allowed to see it - what it cost to run.
Enter the collection and delivery postcodes, the items and their weight, and the quote works out the trip and shows the price line by line from your own rate card. Someone allowed to see costs also sees what it will cost to run and the margin. Book it and the job is priced on the same things as the quote.
Dispatch shows every live job, today’s runs, jobs worth a look before they are invoiced, and vehicles whose MOT, service, tax, insurance or LOLER is due. A run is sequenced and timed from the yard, stop by stop.
A driver sees today’s round in stop order, the checks to do before setting off, and work offered out to take or pass. A driver sees no prices or costs anywhere.
A tracking link with no sign-in: the progress of their job, where the van last reported, and proof of delivery once it is signed - one job and nothing else.
It records what was taken on a job and builds customer statements. Messages to customers go when someone presses send - nothing goes out on its own.
The registers - incidents, vehicle checks and defects, consignment notes - are records of what happened. None of them certifies a vehicle, a driver or a load.
