What it does

The collection round
Requests become a scheduled round rather than a list of missed calls, so the driver knows the day's stops and the keeper knows a collection is coming.

A collection generates the movement paperwork it has to, recorded against the collection it belongs to rather than written up from memory afterwards.
The account behind it
Collections add up to an account and a statement, so what is owed for the round is a figure the system keeps rather than a shoebox of dockets.
What it is not
It does not make anybody compliant
Fallen stock is a regulated activity. PBS Farmstock produces the paperwork a collection generates; it does not discharge a keeper's statutory duty to record and report animal movements or deaths. The duty stays with the keeper, and the software is a tool for meeting it, not a substitute for it.
It is not a veterinary record
It is the collection round and the account behind it. Where the statutory movement record must live is the keeper's decision and their responsibility.
